With a 10-mu site
and a floor area of 6,400 square metres, Haid Research Institute is equipped
with cutting-edge equipment valued at nearly RMB200 million and boasts a fixed
base investment of over RMB300 million. The institute’s R&D work covers
seven key areas: Animal genetics and breeding, animal nutrition and feed,
animal medicine and biopharmaceuticals, microbial engineering, biochemical
engineering, protein engineering, and healthy farming. Haid Research Institute
holds several national, provincial, and municipal vehicles for technological
innovation, such as the National Enterprise Technology Centre and
CNAS-certified laboratory.
Operating under
the mechanisms that prioritise opening-up, circulation, collaboration, and
innovation, Haid Research Institute conducts over 1,000 independent R&D
project tests every year and has undertaken more than 100 technology projects
at national, provincial, and municipal levels. In recent years, Haid Group has
led the formulation of one national and two industry standards, published over
300 articles, developed more than 200 new products for its subsidiaries, and
had five new species recognised as national aquatic species. Additionally, it
holds more than 200 core technologies, including a well-proven aquatic feed
formulation technology that has been widely adopted in the market.
